The Sound Shark Basic Wireless Kit includes a Sound Shark along with a Wind Cover, and an Audio Technica PRO88W/MT803MW wireless microphone package (which includes the transmitter, receiver, and microphone). This entry level wireless system will allow you to place your Sound Shark away from your camera or recorder. The MT830R lavaliere microphone, that is included with this package, comes with a 3.5mm connector so it can be used wirelessly, or plugged directly into most cameras or digital recorders.
This wireless microphone system provides a mono (single channel) 3.5mm output connector. Unfortunately most cameras and recorders won’t recognize that there isn’t a signal on the second channel, so your recording will only have audio on one channel and the other channel will be silent. You may want to consider purchasing our Stereo Jack Adapter if your camera, or recorder has a stereo microphone jack.
