Sometimes you have to be creative!


I was recently asked to record a presentation where only the main speaker would be mic'd up. Hanging a Sound Shark from a convenient ceiling vent worked great.
It not only served as a backup mic, but also picked up other speakers that came up to the podium for introductions, etc., who weren't wearing mics.
